Good Day

This is me having a really good day.  I have been sick for so long it seems with this cursed flu, but the last few days I have felt simply fabulous.
I have been rearranging all of our bedrooms , furniture from one to another, bringing in a new bed, stuff like that.  I have bruises on my stomoch, my legs and  my arms.  Have you ever tried to move two box springs and mattresses, by yourself (Kenny wasn't here) from one small room to an even smaller room ( twin beds obviously).  Then I had to drag the bed frames along as well and attempt to put them together.  Many of my bruises orginated at that time. There were also many moments, screamed to an empty house, of "Help me", or "For the holy love of merciful GOD!!!!"  or "AAAGGHHH" or "ACK" and occassionally, a few more explosive bursts of  #@*&*$#%.
However, the rooms are together and now I am just waiting for the 800th load of laundry to finish so that all bedding ( mattress pads, pillow protectors, etc, etc,) starts out fresh.
Now, I just have to count down the days until my two youngest girls and my two youngest grandbabies come to visit!!!!!!  YIPPEE!!!  It sure adds some serious light to this house when the walls are nearly bursting from so much noise and commotion, squealing and laughing, amazement and absolute love.  Best times in the world.

I love this little story. It's like something that I would want to do...but don't quite have the ambition. That, and the painting story that follows!
